Our Accuphase E-700 demo is only about a month old and comes fully loaded with both the DAC-60 digital input board and AD-60 phono card, making this an exceptionally versatile centerpiece for a serious two-channel system. The E-700 delivers everything we love about Accuphase: effortless Class A authority, gorgeous tonal color, a wonderfully spacious soundstage, and that silky, refined presentation that makes even long listening sessions feel way too short. Music comes through with weight and texture, but also incredible finesse—vocals feel intimate, instruments have real presence, and there’s a calm, controlled quality that never sounds forced. Add in Accuphase’s unmistakable champagne-gold finish, beautifully weighted controls, and those iconic meters, and the E-700 is every bit as satisfying to look at as it is to listen to. With the DAC-60 and AD-60 already installed, this lightly used demo is ready for digital, vinyl, and just about anything else you want to throw at it.
