Pure Fidelity Encounter Mk4 // New / Premium Dual Pivot Tonearm
$0The Encounter Mk4 is the kind of tonearm that lets even a modestly priced cartridge perform as though it costs twice as much. Origin Live's Dual Pivot bearing — ultra-hard tungsten carbide points resting in burnished steel cups — delivers the low-friction transparency of a uni-pivot without the wobbly cueing, soft bass, or finicky setup that typically accompany it. The aircraft-alloy arm tube keeps stray resonances well away from the stylus; cryogenically treated Litz wiring preserves signal purity from stylus to phono stage. A falling-weight anti-skate mechanism is as mechanically clean as the concept gets. The result is an arm that tracks with quiet authority and communicates rhythm and texture with uncommon honesty — fast, tonally even-handed, and transparent enough to let the record speak entirely for itself.
