Featuring a dbx Type II noise-reduction system, it operates at 7-1/2 or 3-3/4 ips in the regular home-stereo quarter-track format. The dual-capstan drive employs a servo-controlled motor, minimizing mechanical noise. Six heads (erase, record, and playback for each direction) and a microprocessor-controlled transport system enhance functionality. The electronic tape counter offers versatile time readouts, and additional features include high-speed search options, LED indicators, and controls for inputs, outputs, and playback speed.
