The Enterprise Mk4 features a high-grade aircraft alloy arm tube stiffened with carbon fibre and further processed for improved resonance control. A larger-diameter sleeved rear stub maximizes energy dissipation and improves counterweight stability. The damped counterweight attachment minimizes energy reflection back down the tube, while a counterweight fine adjuster enables highly precise tracking force. The sophisticated yoke decoupling adds several layers of isolation from the vertical bearings. The mirror-finished yoke is coated in Chrome Nitride by the same supplier that serves Rolex.
Dual Pivot Bearings pair ultra-hard tungsten carbide points resting in burnished steel cups for vanishingly low vertical friction — achieving the transparency of a uni-pivot without sacrificing bass or stability — alongside ceramic ball bearings for ultra-smooth horizontal motion. Internal Silver Hybrid wiring combines cryogenically frozen silver with copper Litz wire. The supplied 1.2-metre Silver Hybrid external cable terminates in rhodium-plated single-point RCA plugs.
