The A 6010 recorder featured AR 60 silicon transistor separate record/playback electronics and a tape deck, mounted in the one walnut case and patched together at the rear, with an RCA out from the tape head. The deck could play back in both directions with automatic reverse but could only record in a forward direction. Features included mic/line mixing, electrically switched tape speeds of 7½ and 3¾ ips, hysteresis synchronous motor, tape tension switch for normal and thin tapes, automatic shut-off, four heads and large 3½ ” VU meters.
