The Sansui AU-717 is an integrated amplifier from what we consider the best line in their history, and certainly one of the most sought-after. The AU-717 is conservatively rated at 85W per side, but reviews at the time were measuring 100 watts into 8Ω loads. This example is in excellent condition, and a steal at this price.

- The History of Sansui
- Sansui was founded in 1947 in Tokyo Japan. Started as a transformer manufacturer, Sansui produced various audio products for more than fifty years. - Liner Notes
The AU-717 amplifier incorporates an advanced design feature which has extremely low inherent transient intermodulation distortion enabling negative feedback (necessary in traditional amplifier design but undesirable) to be reduced to the absolute minimum. Power amplifier design too, shows a departure from tradition resulting in the elimination of DC drift. Differential push/pull amplifier stage eliminates open-loop distortion. The driver stage is 3-stage darlington connected.
