This may be our favorite pair of Klipsch Heresy yet. With this restoration, we left absolutely no stone unturned. All 6 sides have been veneered in Paldao, with a beautiful satin finish. We reconed the woofers, custom-built Type E crossovers using Mundorf capacitors and internally dampened the cabinet. For the wiring, we chose braided 18-gauge silver over copper, terminating with solid copper Cardas binding posts. This is a speaker that you must not only hear, but see to fully appreciate.

- Liner Notes
The Klipsch Heresy was originally introduced in ’57 as a center channel speaker to go between two Klipschorns in larger rooms. When Paul Klipsch came up with the idea and the design, people told him he couldn’t do it, that it was acoustic heresy. “The hell I can’t,” he said, “and that’s exactly what I’m going to call it.” The resulting Heresy was a 3-way, acoustic suspension (sealed) design with a horn tweeter, horn midrange, and a 12” accordion surround woofer. The design has remained largely intact ever since.
