Return Policy


Unfortunately, returns are not possible for most of the items we offer for sale on our site. Pre-owned audio equipment, speakers, and accessories are sold "as-is." Seller makes no warranties regarding the equipment, including the implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Equipment is restored, cleaned, tested, presented and documented to the best of our ability to illustrate an item's condition and functionality.

We guarantee any workmanship on restored or repaired equipment for 30-days from purchase. If an item is identified as defective by the Buyer within this 30-day window, the Buyer must contact us directly in writing. In some cases, the issue or item can be diagnosed and serviced remotely. In other cases, a third party may be required. To be eligible for a return, your item

  • Must be in the same condition that you received it
  • Must be in the same packaging that was used to deliver it to you
  • Must be pre-approved, and the Return Authorization (RMA) number must be conspicuously included in or on the box.

If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, or Buyer fails to provide written notice of a potential issue, we are unable to provide any further assistance.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer. Many of these companies are no longer in business.

All return requests must be approved and a Return Authorization issued before return will be accepted. Basic troubleshooting measures require the cooperation of the customer and are expected to be carried out before a product is deemed “defective." In no case is a customer authorized to send a defective unit to a 3rd party repair center without our consent, and we will not pay for any repairs that we do not perform or authorize.

You must submit a Return Authorization to be eligible for any refund. Any items shipped to Aural Audio without an associated Return Authorization number become property of Aural Audio, and no refund will be issued.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. A restocking fee of 20% applies to all purchases.


If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at


Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


Because of the unique nature of our inventory, we cannot offer exchanges. We do have a trade-in program, however. Please email with details and pictures of each item you'd like us to consider.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. It must be fully trackable, and insured for the total value. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
