Vintage Onkyo Grand Integra M-508 // Solid-State Amplifier
SOLD , now part of a Private CollectionOn the heels of the famed M-510, Onkyo launched a small line of best-in-class components known as the "Grand Integra." This line featured the M-508, a monster dual-mono amplifier with 200 watts per channel, and gorgeous meters lit in rainforest green. Attention to detail comes through both in the design, as well as the sound. The top end is reminiscent of a tube sound – rather soft and sweet, with a remarkable degree of musical euphony. The midrange is neutral, while the lower end is full-throated, with excellent balance and detail. With an unusually good soundstage, and incredible "shelf appeal," this is one sexy piece of gear.
The matching P-308 preamp is also available.
