Advance Paris Acd Apex // New / Hybrid CD Player
$1,399The ACD APEX is the kind of CD player that makes you wonder why you ever stopped spinning discs. Advance Paris routes the analog outputs through a pair of Raytheon 5744 NOS military-grade micro-tubes—not as a gimmick, but as a deliberate choice that lets recorded music breathe with dimension and organic warmth that purely solid-state designs can struggle to replicate. The Wolfson WM8761 DAC keeps things honest at the source; the tubes handle the handoff to your ears. Balanced XLR and RCA outputs give you pairing flexibility, and a front USB port handles FLAC files when the CD shelves aren't enough. Slim enough to stack naturally under the matching APEX amplifiers, this is a disc spinner that gives your collection a second life—and quietly makes the case that physical media still has something to say.
