The concert with her Latin Band promises a unique experience, featuring danceable pieces accompanied by contagious choreographies and original compositions that deeply resonate with Evelyn's life story. Highlighting her overcoming of a physical disability and the tribute she pays to women in Latin American music, it promises to be an energetic and profound show!
The artist has dedicated over two decades to cultivating her career under the banner of the "Evelyn Soto Show", embracing the struggle for equality, respect, and diversity. Her multidisciplinary approach has led her to excel as a singer, songwriter, percussionist, flautist, director, and music producer. Her versatility in a wide range of musical genres, including cumbia, salsa, tropical, Latin, and traditional Colombian music, is evident in each of her performances.
The unique fusion of styles is manifested through the harmonious combination of her voice with the virtuoso execution of various percussion instruments, notably the Latin timbale. In this orchestral format, she is accompanied by the vibraphone and marimba, adding unique nuances to her musical proposal, masterfully interpreted by the talented artist Alejandro Ruiz, who also serves as musical director.
