- Liner Notes
- Thank you for purchasing the Quicksilver Audio M135 Mono Amplifiers. These amplifiers have been engineered to have a very wide bandwidth, extremely low distortion and superior dynamic range. The output transformer used in this amplifier is based on the best designs of the past but uses superior new materials to achieve a very high level of performance. The high frequency characteristics of this transformer are so stable that many different output tubes may be used without the need for circuit changes or compensation adjustments. The front end circuitry used in this amplifier was developed by Quicksilver and is unique to the audio industry. It is D.C. coupled for low frequency stability, and nulls out any change in power supply voltages, negating the need for regulated power supplies and their inherent sonic problems. This is an all tube design and uses no circuit boards or transistors.
- Packing
- Prepare to be impressed. We have arguably the best packing process around. We use our InstaPak machine and white open cell foam to build a custom enclosure for your piece that ensures that it's stable and secure. If it is particularly fragile or heavy, we typically opt for private courier delivery. Depending on where you are in the country, that may cost a bit extra. We also take great care to protect the tubes. When sensible, we will pack the tubes to prevent any movement. Other times, we'll individually wrap the tubes and mark their corresponding socket to preserve the bias. You can be confident that your piece will be snug as a bug in a rug.
- Shipping
- This piece ships to the contiguous United States for a flat rate of $200, which includes our packaging and our insurance. Of course, we'll ship anywhere in the world, just drop us a line and we'll give you an estimate – even if you're just curious.
