The Swiss-made Bogen B62 was also sold as the Lenco L70. This example lacks a plinth, but makes up for it with cool factor - true, new old stock. The B62/L70 was originally introduced in 1959, and produced until October of '67. With an 8lb platter and variable speed control, this turntable would be perfect for a console restoration.

" The B62 is the latest version of a high performing turntable with arm that offers continuously variable speeds from below 16 to above 78 rpm. The speed adjustment control has detent positions for the nominal settings of 16, 33, 45, and 78 rpm. With these stops as a guide, and by slight adjustment of the control, it is possible to obtain absolute accuracy of speed for any record cut, including some that may spin at slight departures from the standard speeds. The actual range of speeds possible with the B62, according to United States Testing Company, Inc., is from 10 to 85 rpm." - High Fidelity Magazine, 1965
