The Superphon Revelation series isn’t just a line of preamps—it’s one of the greatest audio sleeper hits of all time. Designed by Stan Warren, the same guy who co-founded PS Audio, these preamps took the "high-end sound without the high-end price" concept and absolutely ran with it.
Think of it this way: If Mark Levinson and Audio Research are like fancy steakhouse dinners, Superphon is that hole-in-the-wall joint that serves a $12 burger that destroys them all.

- Liner Notes
I can't add much to the previous praise the Superphon has gotten in Stereophile except to say that if this preamp was British and cost $2500 everyone would be be praising it to the skies. It's short on features and looks, but possesses a soundstage that virtually all the competition lacks, a natural sweetness without glare in the upper octaves, and a musicality that is sadly lacking in virtually every receiver or cheap transistor preamplifier I've heard.
- Anthony H. Cordesman, Stereophile Dec. 1985
- Packing
- Prepare to be impressed. We have arguably the best packing process around. We use our InstaPak machine and white open cell foam to build a custom enclosure for your piece that ensures that it's stable and secure. If it is particularly fragile or heavy, we typically opt for private courier delivery. Depending on where you are in the country, that may cost a bit extra.
- Shipping
- This piece ships to the contiguous United States for a flat rate of $50, which includes our packaging and our insurance. Of course, we'll ship anywhere in the world, just drop us a line and we'll give you an estimate – even if you're just curious.
