This is an incredibly rare piece. The receiver is identical to the very well regarded model 26, just without the external phono inputs. It’s a turntable combo made up of a Garrard Synchro-Lab 55B and a Marantz Model Twenty Eight in a walnut with a dark tinted dust cover that follows the sloping angles of the cabinet. This is the perfect centerpiece space saver piece. Just add speakers.
The Model 28 sound quality really stands up well against my other Marantz receivers. To my ears it actually has better low end response.
