The Bang & Olufsen Beogram 3404 is peak B&O—clean, minimal, and just effortlessly cool in a way that still feels modern decades later. With its tangential tracking tonearm gliding across the record, it’s all about smooth, precise playback without the usual fuss, delivering a sound that’s balanced, refined, and easy to sink into. It won’t punch you in the chest with brute force—instead, it pulls you in with clarity, cohesion, and that signature B&O elegance that makes everything feel just a little more polished. It’s as much a design piece as it is a turntable, but the real win is how simple it makes vinyl feel: press a button, drop the needle, and let it do its thing.

- Liner Notes
- Meet the Beogram 3404, an intelligent, thoughtful and very well spoken turntable. Like all Bang & Olufsen turntables, the 3404 effectively combines superior sound reproduction with simplified - not complicated - operation. That's the real beauty of the 3404. that's why the controls are outside of the dust cover where they're easily accessible. And that's why just a light touch of the Start button does everything. It determines if a record is on the platter, and if so, quickly sets the correct speed and lowers the stylus to the record. Slam. Pound the shelf next to the 3404. Not a skip, not a jump; thanks to the rock-steady patented suspension system. Audible acoustic feedback disappears as a result. A low inertia tonearm with a knife-edge bearing system eliminates audible distortion.
- Packing
- Prepare to be impressed. We have arguably the best packing process around. We use our InstaPak machine and white open cell foam to build a custom enclosure for your piece that ensures that it's stable and secure. If it is particularly fragile or heavy, we typically opt for private courier delivery. Depending on where you are in the country, that may cost a bit extra. We also take great care to protect the tonearm and stylus, and we will tighten any transport screws. You can be confident that your table will arrive snug as a bug in a rug.
- Shipping
- This piece ships to the contiguous United States for a flat rate of $100, which includes our packaging and our insurance. Of course, we'll ship anywhere in the world, just drop us a line and we'll give you an estimate – even if you're just curious.
