The extreme mounting depth of the E-Sub driver permits wide gaps to exist between the three suspension elements. This imparts exceptional mechanical stability over the driver’s full excursion range, further improving linearity, reducing distortion and enhancing long-term reliability.
SWITCHING AMPLIFIER
To power the drivers, we engineered a completely new amplifier with a regulated switching power supply. Its chassis is more compact, lightweight and efficient while still delivering ample clean power.TRUE TWO-WAY CROSSOVER
Built-in two-way crossover provides a high-pass output for your satellite amplifier, allowing easy integration into your 2-channel audio system.
DMA-OPTIMIZED WOOFER
Proprietary motor, suspension and cone modeling systems are used to achieve long, linear excursion capabilities with low distortion and powerful sound output.
VENTED REINFORCEMENT COLLAR (VRC™)
The VRC collar design from JL Audio improves the rigidity and stability of the cone/spider/voice coil junction and directs airflow over the voice coil windings for improved thermal performance.
FCAM™ TECHNOLOGY
This “floating cone attach method” of bonding the surround/cone assembly to the voice coil former/spider structure ensures proper surround geometry in the assembled speaker for better excursion control and dynamic voice coil alignment.
