Decware

Decware is the kind of audio company that could only have come from someone determined to do hi-fi his own way. Founded by designer Steve Deckert and based in East Peoria, Illinois, Decware has built a devoted following around handcrafted tube amplifiers, high-efficiency speakers, and some genuinely unconventional ideas about how music should sound in a room. Its legendary Zen Triode amps embody the philosophy perfectly: simple circuits, very few watts, and a focus on immediacy, texture, and musical connection rather than impressive numbers on a spec sheet. That same experimental streak runs through Decware's loudspeakers, including wonderfully oddball creations like the Radial series.
